Why “V”?

We’ve all seen the geese as they take flight, marveling at their ability to organize into that recognizable V shape.  We point and show our children, listening for the telltale honking and wondering where they’re going on their journey. 

But why V? That was the question that popped into my mind years ago when the idea for Flying V started to take shape. What if some creative goose got the idea to choose another letter? 

That story comes to life on every page thanks to my talented illustrator, Lauren. I hope you enjoy reading the book over and over as you notice new things each time you read it.
